From HRM to E-HRM: Contemporary Developments from Scholarly Work

Abstract: The present article aims to shed light on the concept of Human Resource management. Therein, the authors have attempted to underline some of the important developments in the arena of HRM and where it leads the understanding to. The article elaborates on the growing shift from HRM to E-HRM and why it is becoming inevitable for businesses to understand and accept it. The discussion also highlights detailed explanation of the features and prospects of E-HRM and its uniqueness in comparison with traditional HRM practices. In parallel, the article also expounds on HRM as a strategic concept whilst unleashing on elements relating to technological primacy. The article aims to serve as a guideline for individuals enthusiastic to conduct scholarly work in the area of E-HRM and its strategic importance in the years to come.

Knowledge Management and its Impact on Organizational Performance: Evidence from Pakistan

Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of knowledge management on organizational performance with the moderating role of transformational and Participative leadership behavior in telecom sector of Punjab, Pakistan. How leaders motivate to their employees and how they enhance the performance of organizations by using their knowledge. Research approach was deductive. Postivism research paradiagm was used to measure the study. Simple random sampling technique was used to collect data from employees as well as managers of telecom sector. Sample size was 280 employees of telecome sector. This research is significant for academically and practically in public and policy making. How an organization can enhance to their performance, effectively when long-term commitment, trust, successful socialization of employees and organizational citizenship behavior take place in the organization.

Two Facets of Organizational Politics, the Constructive and Destructive Role of Organizational Politics on Employee Work Related Attitudes: A Theoretical Study

Abstract: The aim of study this to enhance understanding of employee’s attitude towards organizational politics. The positive and negative impact of perception of organizational politics on employee job attitudes is discussed in this paper which caters to one of the most significant issue attracting much of attention by organizational scientists. Numerous productive and counter productive work attitudes are identified by extensive literature review of research papers, articles and different sources at internet. An extensive study of literature has been carried out to discuss two theoretical models of perception of politics. Therein, the article sheds light on the positive outcomes of politics through the first model followed by underlining the negative outcomes of politics at the workplace. The paper also enlightens readers` knowledge and understanding on how organization can work to make the most of this prospect whilst ensuring it does not affect any organizational objectives. The review also forwards lays discussion on both the models for scholars enthusiastic to test and confirm the assertions of both the models for better managerial implication in future.

Green Organizational Culture: A Review of Literature and Future Research Agenda

Abstract: Due to climatic changes across the globe, alignment of processes and products according to international environment standards is a rising concern for business stakeholders. Though this reform process to minimize environmental impact is occurring across different industries and countries but at a varying pace. Therefore, environmental management is still naïve and often compromised. If it is left unaddressed, it would lead to massive protests and social movements in future which will be messy to deal with, since climate change is occurring at an alarming pace. Moreover, the environmental consciousness is rising among masses, it is inevitable to deceive stakeholders for long time in this information era where controlling information is impossible. Corporate scandals and information/data leaks regarding greenwashing can lead to social protests and corporate defamation. Although in most of the countries environmental reporting is not a legal requirement however it is a societal requirement in different communities. Organizations use obfuscation eco-friendly claims, vague visual imagery, selective disclosure of corporate reports, and misleading communication modes to intentionally portray false environment-friendly claims of poor environmental performance to maintain positive social image by deceiving stakeholders. These symbolic strategic practices have stark difference with the real environmental impact. human resource managers and employees play significant role in developing and implementing such environment friendly organizational culture. Therefore, human resource function can facilitate by designing systems to build green organizational culture in organizations. In this research paper the pre-existing literature on green organizational culture in organizations is be reviewed, since in the last decade many researches were conducted on this issue. This review will give a holistic view of existing literature to the future researchers and will help them to identify research gap. Moreover, it will help practitioners and decision makers in knowing the advantages and disadvantages of green culture in organizations, so that they will understand whole impact of opting it.

Corporate Entrepreneurship and Organizational Performance: The Moderating Role of Organizational Engagement

Abstract: The aim of the present paper is to shed light on the concept of corporate entrepreneurship. The authors have attempted to highlight the different conceptualizations and explanations from renowned scholars in the domain of entrepreneurship pertaining to the corporate entrepreneurship and how it can result in worthy outcomes for businesses. Therein, the paper has reviewed and presented notable model explaining the predictors and consequences of corporate entrepreneurship. Specifically, the paper has attempted to work on linking corporate entrepreneurship with organizational performance. Through critical appraisal, the paper has also discussed the potential of organizational engagement in moderating this relationship. The paper forwards prepositions and conceptual model for scholars enthusiastic to study corporate entrepreneurship and its relationship with organizational performance following the buffering impact of organizational performance.
